Cards for Kids

Cards for Kids is our major initiative to to light up a smile on the thousands of children we reach every year through the power of an uplifting card or care package. These children often face the most frightening and uncertain days of their lives after traveling for days to escape poverty, violence, prejudice. We have found that the simple act of receiving a little something can change their entire outlook.

How do I help?

Create cards from scratch, use computer graphics, ​or buy pre-made ones.

How do I start?

​Assemble material to make your own hand or computer-made card (paint/Word program, construction paper, stickers, markers, colored pencils, crayons). Then, add decorations and write a nice message about yourself, inspirations, stories, or happiness. Cards can be for the holidays, get well, or general cheerful greetings. We sort them accordingly for distribution.
